HEIKO Metallbau has successfully developed and installed an innovative scoop wheel for the Tramira ready-mix concrete plant. This specialised scoop wheel is used to remove sand and gravel directly from the gravel holes of the concrete plant. The special design of the wheel makes it possible to filter the extracted raw materials within the device and sort them according to grain size. The sorted materials are then automatically fed to a conveyor belt, which transports them for further processing.
The scoop wheel is characterised by its robust design made of specially hardened metal, which is optimally adapted to the demanding conditions in gravel extraction. This design represents a customised solution in the field of special machine construction and was manufactured using advanced welding techniques. This project underlines HEIKO Metallbau’s expertise in the development and manufacture of specialised machine solutions that are both technically innovative and extremely robust.
